Marble is extremely unforgiving. Those stains may have to be power buffed out, along with the entire top.
First, try several applications of marble sealer. I also hand color in the stains, with markers & then seal it.
Marble requires re-sealing every 3 months. Yes, it’s a pain, but otherwise it’s beyond repair after a couple of years.
