    1 gallon lemon juice 1 gallon vinegar 2 cups salt spray mix really in hot direct sun.

  • Vinegar is what I use. Water soluble, kid and pet safe. Environmentally friendly. Plus it is inexpensive!

    Don't even waste your time and money on DIY weed killer. It's a very temporary fix at best. If you have a large area, cover it with cardboard and leave it for a few weeks to kill weeds and grass. If you talking about weeds in existing gardens. Just keep hand pulling them. When you get an area cleaned out, just pile on some good shredded wood mulch (not wood chips), like 4 or 5 inches deep to keep the weeds at bay. If you stay on top of pulling weeds they will be totally manageable. Good luck!

    This is not an exact science – approximate measures are totally fine 1 gallon white vinegar and cup Epsom salts and ¼ cup liquid dish soap Combine ingredients in spray bottle and treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results.
