How can I darken grout?
I recently had new tile floors put in. I picked out a very dark brown grout color and when the installers finished, everything looked great. But a few days later I noticed a few places where the grout has dried a bit lighter. I want to darken it before I seal it. It's just a few spots...not the whole floor. Could I use a small paint brush and a wood stain or does someone have a better idea? Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

You can try wood stain in one spot and see how it works out. You can also use some craft paint. Mix a few colors to get the right shade.
I'd try putting a bit more grout over the lighter spots. I have never done this, it's just how I think.
Add grout over the spots. Make sure it is clean and get a bag of grout at Home Depot or Lowes. If it is new grout you can touch up fairly easily. I have done it with terra cotta colored grout and had not issue with it sticking to the grout already there. I wet it down first then applied a coating of new grout over top. I would ask the installers to fix it first before I did it. If not ask them for some grout to fix it yourself. That way you will be sure the color matches.
There is “paint” for grout in paint pen form at Home Depot.
I used a paint pen I found at Home Depot!
That is not what was advertised. The description (ie the hook to click the link) was deliberately misleading. This is fraudulent.
