Laura I think glitter should be mandatory on everything! Ha! Ok maybe not.
Choosing the right adhesive glue for multiple surfaces or glass will work best.

Where are the glass blocks, or where are you hoping to put them?

You need modgepodge. Glue then glitter. Then when dry, glitter again. Then when dry add another layer of glue to seal.
