Oh Frances I had to do this recently!

Use an iron or blow dryer to melt it.

I used white rags and paper towels to wipe it up as much as possible. Then I used a credit card to scrape off the tiny amounts left.

I had red wax but it all came off.

Heat up your iron. Now, get a white or pale colored towel and get it very wet. Hold it over the wax and use the iron to go over the area. The towel will absorb the wax as it heats and melts. Won't damage the wall.

I have had this happen to me on my coffee table. I took newspaper and a hot iron. Fold the news paper in half, and take the hot iron and place it on the newspaper where the wax is covering your wall. Do this several times with new newspaper and it should lift it all out. Good uck ...Deb
