How to keep dresser drawers closed?

    Can you explain why it isn't staying closed now? That will help give you a better suggestion.

      Thanks it’s an older dresser the drawer won’t stay close it does have sliders on both Sides

    Quick fix: Put wedges under the two front legs of your dresser.


    it depends on the type of “slides” you have. If you have slides on the sides of the drawer you can adjust the front by loosening the screws and raising the slides slightly so they tilt back


    If it is an older dresser with the wooden pieces for the drawers to slide on they may have come loose. You could tack them back down. If the edges of it are broken you may have to find a replacement of some sort. Lastly, if it has plastic or metal runners on the bottom of the drawers that hold the drawer onto any kind of guide, it may be loose or broken. You can also put tacks on the front of the rail the drawer slides on. This will raise the front of the drawer and tilt it back when closed.
