depends on how hard you want to work. the bottle wall is gorgeous, but alot of work. for something more informal, you could create bottle trees: use 1,2 or more and move them around. take about 4' of 2x4's, cut them in 1/4's, fit together to form a cross, get a 1" dowel as tall as you want as long as the cross has long enough arms. 4 foot will work for up to 31/2-4'. i'd use about 2 8' 2x4's for an 8 " tree. take dowels small enough to fit in bottle and drill holes for them in the the large dowel. drill at a 45" angle or less so bottles won't fall off. place them farther apart than the diameter of the bottles. use water proof glue for wood in the dowel holes. then pace the dowels in them. water proof the "tree" in some way easy to complicated. just ask your friendly hardware man if you need help. the next part is potentially more fun then the previous: assemble the bottles! and place them on the tree. weigh down the legs. this shouldn't take more than 1/2 a day if you have the tools and the wood. time at the hardware store or the vinyard isn't included.
