    thanks Penny! being that I live alone and rarely eat at home, there are never dirty dishes piled up in the sink... the first picture shows the original countertops and mini "bar" area behind the sink that was removed. unsure why I would need to post a bigger pic of the before as you stated since you commented that because of the changes I made you would now be able to see dirty dishes.. ?

    and I think the worst thing about my kitchen is the fact that there is a 1/2 bathroom right next to the dining table! everyday I ask who would design a home like that ?? lol
