How do you bubble paint directly on a wall?

I'm interested in the bubble painting technique for kids crafts using bubble mix and tempra. Does anyone have an idea of how to do this to an entire wall? The mixture would have to be thin enough for bubbles, but thick enough to avoid too much dripping. Also what type of paint would you use that would be durable. I was thinking of applying the technique in a small bathroom with metallic bubbles on white for a glam look. Thanks!

How about getting one of those bubble guns and just shooting the wall? There are bubble machines, too. I'm not sure how much control you would have...

I would purchase a small tube of metallic paint and mix it with the bubble solution to see if you can make a thick enough solution that won't drip when the bubble pops on a vertical surface. Once you've experimented on some poster board, you can move on to the walls.
