How do you bubble paint directly on a wall?

I'm interested in the bubble painting technique for kids crafts using bubble mix and tempra. Does anyone have an idea of how to do this to an entire wall? The mixture would have to be thin enough for bubbles, but thick enough to avoid too much dripping. Also what type of paint would you use that would be durable. I was thinking of applying the technique in a small bathroom with metallic bubbles on white for a glam look. Thanks!

That sounds amazing Latagn. I'll be really keen to see what suggestions everyone comes up with.

How about getting one of those bubble guns and just shooting the wall? There are bubble machines, too. I'm not sure how much control you would have...

Its a small room, I don't mid the blowing. Could bring me back to my childhood, since it does sound like play!

Grab fun whenever you can find it!

I would purchase a small tube of metallic paint and mix it with the bubble solution to see if you can make a thick enough solution that won't drip when the bubble pops on a vertical surface. Once you've experimented on some poster board, you can move on to the walls.

Only one way to find out! Try a little bit of paint and a little bit of soap and see what happens. Let us know!
