How do I transfer the letters onto a painted board?
I’m trying to transfer to the painted board the letterings. Carbon paper won’t work for some reason. The paints I used on the board are water-based. I want to trace and then fill in letterings on board with dark turquoise paint. Help, please?

Graphite paper.
Check Pinterest, they have tons of tutorials on transferring art and letters to wood. But first you have to use an inkjet printer, reverse the lettering. Then put it upside down and burnish the letters or art. (Rub the lettering with the back of a spoon, credit card, etc. without ripping paper) Hope that helps, good luck and have fun
hmmm, would this inkjet on wax paper work?

Color chalk on the back of the paper and use a pencil to transfer the chalk onto the wood. For a white surface, you’ll need to use colored chalk
Okay. Thank you.
Use a ball point pen to trace the letters. Apply pressure as you do this. The pressure will create an indention in the wood.
the indention will create a bit of a gutter for the paint which will aid you in staying within the lines.
MUST be a ball point or the paper will tear.
