Good luck. You can try poison, traps, or flooding. We bought an electronic beeper. It is buried about 1' into ground with the access cap exposed above ground. It runs on 4 D-cell batteries that last all year. It makes a periodic beep that moves through the ground.
Poison worked well for us. Put it on their tunnels, for about 2 weeks and then they’re gone.
Get rid of their food source, Grubs, and they'll move on. Use a grub killer. Grub X is one.

Good of luck getting rid of their food source!
They will eat anything!
I used to find one of their burrows/holes and shove the garden hose down it then turn the water on full blast. It doesn't necessarily get rid of them but unless they know how to scuba dive in runs them off for a little while.
Once you have flushed them out take some dirt and fill in the holes/dens.
!!!!!!BEWARE OF DOING THIS WITH CHILDREN PRESENT!!!!!!
Sometimes the are little guys (babies) in the burrows and, unfortunately, most of them do not survive.
Just get rid of the grubs. Use Milky Spore, not poison because poison will kill all the beneficial insects as well and also detrimental to wildlife. Milky spore is safe for kids and pets. Buy it at any lawn and garden place. Home Depot and Lowe’s sell it as well. Just follow the directions.
First, their main food source is earth worms not grubs. There are many products on the market that state they will get rid of moles, but in all actuality most of those methods have proven largely ineffective. The best way to rid your yard of moles is to trap them. Check with your local tractor supply or a similar store to get mole traps. They can recommend the best traps and also give you instructions on how to set them up. Good luck and happy trapping, your friendly certified advanced master gardener
Spray your yard with agricultural grade castor bean oil, then plant some castor bean plants. Pushing crushed mothballs in their burrows using a stick, then blocking entrances with multiple bricks has also worked.
There are things on the market (one is called a Solar Moler) that work well and are safe to use around kids and pets.
