My living room/dining room have 7 panels of floor to ceiling mirrors. Removing them now is too costly. Wondering if it is possible to paint or wallpaper over mirrors?

  • Here's an idea for using fabric: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FT0EsBta4TU I bet it could go over your mirrors with good adhesive.

Why don't you try using a removable wallpaper ? There are so many kinds of prints available , traditional , modern , plain , funky , ....check out sites like wallsneedlove.com , tempaper.com or even on Amazon . Good luck !

Yes you can. I painted my glass front cabinets. All you is get a primer that is for smooth glossy surfaces. Kilz makes one and my cabinets came out great.

Ohhhh I had this too. I was pregnant and hates seeing myself 3x my size inbetween mirrors. Lol.

We us kids so we had stick on applicays, then I painted them. I didn’t think painting was great so I scrapped it off. It made the room appear bigger.

Ever try glass etching?? Use an erasable marker n draw a cool mural or maybe tree of life ..get glass etching kit ..be careful..its like acid..paint it on and it eats the smooth texture and leaves a beautiful picture..then stick small pics of family from the trees branches!!!

What is the width of the wall?

How about drapery panels covering all or some of the mirrors?

If the wall is wide, go with 2 or 3 rods, and grommet drapery panels.
