How do I repair the floor seam in a manufactured home?

    The floor seam is where the two sides join. If it is separating or one side is becoming lower that the other, the double wide needs to be jacked up from underneath. There could be multiple reasons, usually it's that the ground is not stable.

    I agree with 2dagal. It may be structural underneath that's causing the seam to separate. Where is the seam and how long is the separation?

    Has the subfloor loosened? Have the support piers settled? Some subfloors in m manufactured housing isn't very sturdy from my experience. We also had problems with the way the flooring was installed. We ripped out the kitchen floor, put a better subfloor in, made sure it was level and put in better flooring. We also added better insulation while we had it open. Small investment with a big impact on comfort and warmer floor.
