How to clean a painted cabinet?

How do I clean a small cabinet that has painted flowers and birds on three sides? I need something gently so that the paint does not run or fade. I cannot tell what type of paint was used or if it has a protective coating.

I would do a spot test somewhere first to make sure that it doesn't rub off. If it doesn't, I would surely find a way to seal it for future cleaning.
you could use Murphy's Soap Oil just follow directions on bottle and do not get it too wet..and dry well
I'd start with just dawn soapy water and a soft rag.
