Decide where you want it. The main work will be prepping the site. Many diy options are out there from pavers to brick, to concrete

First determine where you want your path ,, if you are doing a curved or winding path , I saw a tutorial where you lay out a hose in the wave of curve that you want your path , and Mark it using some spray paint . Hardest part will be cutting/ digging out grass or weeds . Then pick out pavers , bricks , stepping stones .. You can even but forms in different patterns that you use with quickcrete , a fast drying concrete that you mix and pour yourself . Good luck !

First use your garden hose to lay out your design. Dig out the area to a depth of 4 inches. Lay down some garden cloth, top with a small granular stone or sand, tamp until even. Lay your patio blocks or stones. Once that is done, Mix a little dry concrete to sand and then broom the sand mix into the cracks, sweeping until level. You can now buy a product that has glue in with the sand which will do the same job.
