This week I've discovered copper spray paint and now I'm ruined for life. I blame Pinterest. Gold and Silver no longer have any meaning for me...lol. Seriously, I am DIGGING this color and can't wait to start updating my rooms with more of this copper accent. The photos pretty much speak for this simple herb garden project, but if you'd like the full story, read my blog post... https://www.janesreallife.com/copper-my-new-decor-accent-color/

Don't throw away tin or metal cans...there are SO MANY great ways to upcycle and reuse them! Today I am making herb planters. I punched holes in the bottom using a hammer and a nail (for drainage) and them spray painted them copper.

A few light coats and they look brilliant!

Using chalkboard labels and a chalk pen, I labeled each one.

These look great on my farmhouse table, and it was such an easy little update! I can't wait to see what else I can do with this copper color! I'm thinking I will update the succulent planters I have in the window next to this table. I'll be sure to update this post when I have it all done! COPPER SPRAY PAINT ROCKS!

I've done this and it does work great! I just used a puncture type bottle opener-can punch to punch smaller holes in the bottom of the can. It was handy at the time. You can also decorate as you choose.
