    It has to be DUG out at the root system, and even then it can be sneaky.


    Two species. One spreads directly from the main, while the other trails, pods, roots like an underground vine.


    The main body of the plant has to be removed for the greatest effect.


    One method using Roundup has had limited success.


    Paint full strength Roundup on freshly cut bamboo. You will have to repeat this every few weeks for about a year.

  • Yes, you need to dig it out. Instead of Roundup, I'd use vinegar and salt.
