Canvas What? You can wash down with vinegar and water to kill the mold. Then you can scrub down with hot soapy Dawn water and a soft scrub brush.
Mold in real canvas will be difficult to kill and remove without the spores re-growing.
Yes, What is the canvas? How much mike is there?
After scrubbing it clean, dry in the sun.
You can read the step by step here:
Kill it: Spray it with distilled white vinegar. Let dry. Clean it: Scrub it lightly with a soft brush using a mixture of salt, lemon, and hot water. Avoid using detergent soaps or bleach which is harsh on canvas and tough to rinse out.

I agree with the vinegar solution. Be sure to rinse the canvas thoroughly again and let dry thoroughly before folding.
