How do I remove water stains on a table?
Our new dining table is getting what looks like water stains on it when you put a hot plate or bowl on it. Anything I can do to prevent this and remove the ones that are there now?

Place a cloth over the stains. An iron set to medium heat and iron over the cloth. May take a few passes. Use placemats or trivets to prevent this.

Always place hot dishes on trivets or hot pads, never on a wood surface.
Purchase table pads-best investment against this type of occurrence, whether by you, a child, or a guest.
I bought a cloth at Ace hardware made by Guardsman. Walla, it worked.
The question was how to get rid of water marks on the table, not how to prevent it. As careful as you can be, sometimes things happen... I also would. Like to know how to remove the marks.
Ironing is your best bet. I have an antique table I messed up doing art projects with the grands. I simply put a white towel down and ironed over....it works great... might take a couple tries but it does work. Not sure why a white towel but I didn't want to take any chances 😃
