How do I clean glass tile?

When using grout to put up a glass backsplash, is there a way to remove or clean the backsplash if the person didn't clean it off during the time it was being up (w/o sandblasting, of course)?

You can clean glass with a Brillo or S.O.S. pad. Contrary to popular belief, these pads do not scratch glass...but they do remove paint spatter and would remove the grout from the glass tiles.

If you're skeptical, test one small area first. If you scrub with a wet Brillo or S.O.S., the pad will not scratch the glass. Then move on and clean the rest of the tile.

Then wipe clean with wet microfiber cloth when finished.

Use a very hard plastic putty knife to scrape or chip it off. Will take some time but it should come off.

Try a wet kitchen scrubby and elbow grease. Shame on the installer.

I would use a straight edge razor to not damage the tile to clean up the spatters.
