How do I clean Rainx off my glass shower doors?

I bought expensive glass shower doors when I remodeled my bathroom and my brother told me to use Rainx on them to keep them from getting water spots but that didn't work.I have tried vinegar, baking soda, bleach, those white sponge things, car cleaning products,( not all at the same time) but nothing has helped. I am at my wit's end with trying to get the glass clean again. They doors are only two years old and I have been trying for over a year now to get them water spot free. After every shower I use a squeegee.

  • Like you I have tried all the hacks. For me personally I find it I put on the exfoliating gloves and use soap I scrub the glass and rinse it off. And then use a squeegee to remove the water.

How hard is your water? Do you have a water softener?

I would buy a whole house water filter and the highest quality of filter that fits it and have a plumber install it where you water comes into the house. The filters last 6 months.

Mine was about $100 and my filters are $40. No more water spots, no mineral build up on faucets and shower heads, no scale in my tankless water heater and no scale in my espresso maker.

      Cheryl,

We have considered doing this due to hard water. One of our concerns is water pressure. Did you find that the system dropped your water pressure? Does your system remove chlorine or just minerals?

lime and rust. The hard water is the problem. Good luck!
