Will a bleeding heart flourish in partial shade?
I bought a bleeding heart plant from a nursery. I want to give it the home it needs to flourish. I have a great spot but it gets mostly partial sun through the trees. It states in the catalogue that it will grow in partial shade. What kind of enviroment does a new bleeding heart plant need? Thank you for your advise..!!

That would be a perfect location. Plant with a good amount of compost in and around the planting hole. Otherwise a very easy plant to grow.
They do like the sun but if it gets extremely hot then supply a bit of shade for it so that it does not dry out too much.

Dear Deb,
Congratulations on your new plant! You will be so happy with this plant . . . it multiplies like crazy! Plant one this year and it will product at least 2 or 3 more next year. I had bleeding heart plants all along my fence line and under my trees. It will grow well in partial sun. Enjoy!!
