What's the best way to divert water from a door on a slope?
My side yard is on a slope during bad storms I have a water problem around the basement door. What is the best way to divert the water?

You could use concrete or dirt to build a divider. Like a snake, and divert the water.
Can you re-grade the yard in that area?
Can you pour more concrete on top of the door pad? Or veneer it with pavers? Both would be at a slope away from the door.
I think a simple solution would be a catch basin. If it’s an excessive amount of water you may need to install a small dry well. Good luck!
I would buy drain tile in my yard and tons of sand.
A French Drain is the best permanent solution to your issue. I had the same problem and had one installed. Large rocks on a sand base could be a temporary fix.
