Have you ever painted the exterior of your house?
Mine seems to be a variety of materials...wood, aluminum, etc. I'm curious if anyone has had good results and what tips they might have. Or perhaps this is a better job reserved for pros. I wonder what the price comparison is.

I do not know how expensive it is, but they now paint houses with ceramic. It might work for what you want. You can also get the same color paint for all. Pick a color, and they can match it for it for all your surfaces with the right type of paint. For exterior paint, you want it to last. Metal paint may be higher.
My house also has various types of materials on the exterior. Several years ago I painted it and it came out looking great. I used a lighter color for the main part of the house and a darker color for the block foundation. My house is small so it took less than the
5-gallon bucket of paint I bought (roughly $200). Including incidentals such as brushes, cleaners, caulking, etc. it only cost about $450. I couldn’t have hired a painter for that and I have a good friend who is a professional painter.
You will need to purchase the paint specific for each surface. Also the prep will be different for each type of material. In my experience, it is a pricey job.
I agree, select the paint for the surface. I use Rustoleum paints for metals. Don't forget to prime for a long-lasting job.
yes, but it was a concrete house
