Do not use this mix on your lawn, only on hard surfaces. 1 gallon of vinegar, 1/4 cup salt, 1 tablespoon dish liquid and pour into spray bottle.

    Hi Robin,

It depends on where the weeds are located. If the weeds are between cracks in a driveway or sidewalk, mix vinegar and salt together and pour it on the weeds. If the weeds are in a garden or on your lawn, do not use salt. Salt will make the ground unusable so nothing at all will grow in that spot. The most natural ways to remove those weeds is to use plain white vinegar or boiling water. Vinegar takes some time to work, so be patient. Boiling water kills the plants almost immediately. Once the weeds are out, use a pre-emergent like Preen to help keep them from coming back. Remember that weed seeds are spread by the wind, birds and other animals so you have to keep on top of the situation. Wishing you the best.
