How to age a chandelier?
i have an old brass/gold chandelier i'd like to be silver. i want it to look old though. is there a process where you spray water on wet paint and get that black effect? or maybe vinegar? i saw it years ago on a diy show. thanks

That technique is for glass I think. You can spray paint it silver and use wax to age it.
You can also paint it black and add a white wash over the black to give it an aged patina finish. :)
You can purchase antique silver paint and it will give you the effect with only one painting.
