DIY Bulletin & Dry Erase Board

It's almost back to school time for my kiddos (4 days but who's counting? ;-) Having a strong need to be organized and a hoarding tendency, I decided to turn an old crib end into a Command Center of sorts!
Here's the crib end getting ready for a coat of white spray paint. I used wood filler for all of the screw holes.
I measured one side of the crib end and cut the size I needed out of a roll of cork.
For the dry erase side I had Lowe's cut a piece of Acrylic to size. I could have went with white board but I don't like how it gets all grungy after a lot of use. I glued some pretty scrapbook paper down then laid the acrylic over it and mounted it with picture hanging tape.
Here's the finished board ( wish I would have written on it with a black dry erase marker to illustrate that but oh well lol).
I hot clued tacks onto some rustic wood slices and used more matching scrapbook paper to cover some clothespins.
We're ready for BACK TO SCHOOL!!! (Like, yesterday, honestly!!!) Be sure to hop on over to the blog (link below) to see 14 other blogger's back to school ideas. There are some GREAT tips that you don't want to miss too! everyday
