If it's on hills, you could put in retaining walls to hold the ground in place. Some more information and pictures would really help us help you.
Install a French drain system to route water away (preferably to a point 4-6' from the front of your property, presuming it slopes toward the street). The trench and piping should slope at least 3% or more.
You can make terraces if you have a seriously sloped area, also.
If erosion is caused by downspouts discharging rain water too close to your foundation, extend the downspouts underground, to a minimum of 10' away from your foundation.
If near a driveway, build channels filled with 2B gravel, or install downspout extensions. Check gutters to insure no leaks exist.
Erosion from where?
If this is a slope terrace it or try a dry creek bed. Boulders of different sizes not only add interest but they can also help drainage and look natural if buried about half way. Try erosion netting. It comes in rolls and you unroll it and pin it in place. The netting has small holes where you can sow seed.
plants or stone all over the affected area. consult a landscaper on how to do it.
