Don't know about growing as a Vine but citronella plants you can grow and some sort of mint plants I have heard are good to grow in pots around your patio they seem to deter the mosquitoes they don't like the smell this way you don't have to burn citronella wax burners.

Hi Dalila!
There are some very beautiful plants that will grow up a trellis for you to enjoy. Morning glories come to mind first. My mother had many of these and were so beautiful on her garden trellis.

I never knew there were mosquito repellent plants.
Strangely, you haven't heard until now that there are special mosquito repellent plants.
In my garden, I planted lavender, sage, and rosemary. Since we live close to the river, there are just a huge number of mosquitoes. In the evening, it was impossible to sit on the terrace because the mosquitoes literally devoured us.
So I decided to plant these plants, and it helped. In addition to the benefits, these plants are also very beautiful and perfectly decorate my garden. As for rosemary, it is always needed in the kitchen.
Now there are practically no mosquitoes, and this is very cool. I am very glad that I finally found a way to get rid of them.
