Try using vinegar, it will help break down soap residue and will also work on any water residue. If the buildups are thick, it may take a couple of times.

I'm a proponant of CLR Cleaner. It cleans the calcium lime & rust deposits that come from having"hard water". That means U have a lot of minerals in your water. CLR IS quick, easy & it works!!

If the shower door hasn't been cleaned in awhile and there is a haze that won't come off, I use glass stove top cleaner. It cuts through any build up and leaves the door looking new again.

I try my best to squeegee after use to keep the door from getting too dirty between cleanings, but it doesn't always happen!

put straight CLR on paper towels and put them on the door( they can't be so wet they fall off) let them sit awhile to dissolve spots then take them off and scrub with fine steel wool or green scrubber sponge you can use the single edge razor blade with the CLR too spray on scrape off rinse well wth hottest water you can get. use gloves;use dawn dish soap regularly to wipe/clean soap scum add baking soda if needed;use straight rubbing alcohol to keep them streak free no paper towels they are made with chemicals to increase absorption so they strak/smear also just use clean cloth no fabric softener either it also will leave streaks/smears,use vinegar to kill mold/mildew;bleach to remove stains from mold/mildew
