How do I protect metal outdoors?

I bought these beautiful metal flowers to decorate my porch, but the minute I got home it was raining and I realized that they would oxidize fast in this Spring rain! I want to show them off in summer. Any ideas on protecting my metal flowers ?

Hi Adrianna, your flowers are beautiful. Here are some ways to preserve them. Hope this is helpful. Make it Last: How to Protect and Preserve Your Garden Art
Quick tips for protecting metal from rust: Clean the item with a lint-free cloth, even if it's brand-new. Protect your work surface with a dropcloth and lay the item flat. Apply one light coat of polyurethane to the exposed surface, and then allow it to dry.

Yes, I'd use clear Rustoleum in either a gloss, semi-gloss or satin to cover those, a couple of coats.

Rustoleum clear spray is my choice. I love these and would like some if you will share where to buy. Enjoy!

I paint on a good urethane, gloss seems to last longer but satin is ok too, I use it on all my outdoor deco

I recommend anything from the Rustoleum line of rust-resistant paints. Don’t forget to paint the backs and bottoms!

Spray with Sprar Marine varnish. It is made for boats, so it will last.
