It's just a messy job. Close off the area with plastic sheeting. Fill garbage bags with tile as you go, but only fill them about 1/3 of the way or you won't be able to move them. For small jobs, you can get away with a hammer and chisel. For floors, you might want to rent something bigger.
Construction is dirty, dusty and messy. Tape off all rooms to keep the dust and debris to the room you are working on. No way around it. Clean as you go.

Renovation is messy and dusty. Close off area and keep cleaning after yourself.
Hint--Have a helper hold the hose of your shop-vac close to where you are chipping off the tiles😊.
