How do I make chalk paint out of paint materials, etc. that I have?

If you have plaster of paris, that works nicely. Mix a small amount with water to form a paste, then mix that with paint. It only stays good for a few days, but the coverage is excellent!

Hello Sandra! I like the plaster of paris recipe the best. Just make sure you stir it well so your paint mixture is smooth and stir occasionally as you are painting. I keep my homemade mixture in canning jars with canning lids. It will last for at least a month this way.
