The best thing is to tackle one room at a time so that the remainder of the home is still functional while you are doing it. Remove all bedding and wash, While that is being washed decide if you need to wash down the walls and doors. Wipe down the bed frame and clean the mattress by putting baking soda on it and leaving for a while. Vacuum that up. Clean the floors and baseboards after doing the walls. If you have rugs, use a rug shampooer to give them a shampoo. If you have curtains they can be washed but generally with a low water temperature. Do not forget to wash the inside of the windows with a vinegar and hot water mix to make them shine.
