How to use a non-working shredder?

Hi there, would you mind elaborating on your question a bit for us?

Fix it so it works;use the bottom as trash can,planter,recycle bin,buy a new top piece for the bottom so you can have a shredder,maybe could use the metal teeth inside as chimes or part of rain chain,throw into recycle bin,cut off cord reuse copper wire inside,give it to someone that needs the parts

I hope I understand your question. Do you want to upcycle the shredder? Make something out of it? I am unable to find anything you can make from a non working shredder (doesn't mean it can't be done.) I am sorry if I miss understood you.
