what is it exactly you are asking? do you want to reverse the way the door opens and seal the gaps around it?? buy new flat bigger butt hinges that work on outside of house https://www.hardwaresource.com/stainless-steel-wide-throw-butt-hinges.html since door is so messed up run bolts/w lock nuts thru the door to hold the hinges in place put silicone sealer/caulk in holes with bolts to keep out moisture. ; use foam trim insulation around door and opening to create tighter seal and these door sweeps to close up bottom https://www.google.com/search?q=Energy+Efficient+Adhesive+Under+Door+Silicone+Sweep+Weather+...&safe=active&sa=X&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS750US750&tbm=shop&tbs=vw:g&ved=0ahUKEwiPjfvWtbfhAhUHllQKHW4MCq4QvQ0IrgI&biw=1366&bih=657 stick onto door with E6000 glue/adhesive

Who in the world installed that door? Those are the wrong type of hinges! Are they original? You need to use butt hinges. That will close the gap. Then you need to install door weather stripping around the door on the outside.

Honestly, you need a new door. If you get rid of the gap on the hinge side, you'll just have the gap on the doorknob side, then the door may not stay closed. Just make sure to get the proper door with the hinges that William suggested. Never put hinges on the outside unless you like unwanted visitors (that's a big safety hazard).

Mobile Home doors open to outside I've lived in quite a few. In order to fix this door you 'll need mobile home hinges that are made for this type door, weather striping . I had problem with door in home I lived in and went to used mobile home parts store.I found a door and all hardware at a reason able price. They gave me instructions on installing door. These stores are located on enter net in all areas of country. Good luck with door.

    Hi,

I bought a manufactured home I love it, however, I had to make some changes.

First, replace the mobile home doors with regular house doors. YES YOU CAN !

Mine went right in. WOW, looks like a regular house inside.

The only thing you might need to do is modify the door opening. With woodworking, it is easy. I put front and back doors in and it took that "Mobile"

home look away. With wood working skills, IT IS EASY.

Get back to me if needed.

    Good LUCK.

the hinge should be on the door frame outside not on the wall .The hinge pin should face the inside of the house and the small part on the door and the big part on the frame .I have a modular house and those kind of hinges are used for handicapped people .I hope pics help you
