There are dust collector machines you can buy that is attached with a hose/tube that sets off to the side. Like a large vacuum cleaner. Ours only comes one when out saw is in use.

If you anticipate lots of use, get a shop vac, they are relatively inexpensive on sale, and keep it handy. They are much sturdier than a household vacuum.

  • You might be able to hook up a shop vac directly to the saw. Check around the saw to see if there's a spot or look in the manual.

Lisa, when we moved the dust bag to my mitre saw somehow got lost. So I took an old nylon bag that had a drawstring top (it looks like it was some sort of sports bag, but no one claimed it!) and put it on there, then also used a rubber band to help hold it on. So far, it has held up just fine. So look around; the solution doesn't have to be fancy!

Hey lisa, you can use a table saw hood to collect those saw dust. Also you can use some air filteration systems to get rid of these dusts.
