  • I use Wright's silver polish as it comes with a little sponge. Makes it super easy to clean silver in all the crevices.

Hi Vickie, try this little trick

Tarnished silver is no match for this aluminum foil “recipe.” Bring one liter of water, one tablespoon of baking soda, and one piece of aluminum foil to a boil. Drop silverware in the pot for 10 seconds (longer if it's very tarnished), then remove using kitchen tongs. Magic!

My favorite funny way is to use KETCHUP! If you are in a bind and don’t have a proper silver cleaner on hand you can substitute ketchup straight from the bottle! I like to recycle our old toothbrushes as cleaning tools and they work great for this purpose as they are softened from use, easily gets into all the cracks and crevices, can be used both to apply and scrub the tarnish away and I don’t feel bad about ruining or discarding because this is at least the 2nd life fir the item. Best of all they are basically “free” having served the purpose that they were originally purchased for.!
