We had a few catch-all bins just sitting on the ground, and I decided that it was time I make a place for them to live. So I finally took a saw to a few pieces of left over plywood! Ans just like that, we had a new entryway storage bench.

Here’s how we started the party😂 About a year or so like this🙈

First I cut the top and bottom piece out of this spare 3/4” plywood.

Then I used my handy dandy 90 degree clamps to make some squares🙌🏼

That was easy enough and plenty strong to sit on. Now for a base...the wife wanted it dressed up a bit.

Also using 3/4” scraps, I made a simple 4” base.

To “dress it up”, I borrowed the wife’s candle lid to get a round shape I could cut out with a jigsaw. Just a bit of detail goes such a long way.

I screwed the base on from underneath so I wouldn’t have any holes to fill and painted that puppy💥

We love how it turned out.

Easy, clean and functional🙌🏼
