Hello Virginia! I am not sure what you are using now to clean your black appliances. I wipe my down with warm soapy dishwater and then dry with an old white cotton dish towel-not the bath towel type of towel. I do this about once a week. It only takes a few minutes.

I use this BIO cleaner from QVC. I LOVE IT. I use it on my black stove top and many more things also. The best job I seen it do was on a high gloss wooden rolling cart in a kitchen. It had gotten pretty dirty where it was at, and then was put in storage for over a year. When I got it, I took it back outside, hosed it down and used this paste on it. WOW factor. The gloss came back and it looked great. I use it on pots, pans, sink, inside fridge, tubs, etc. see attached picture.

  • My appliances are black too. I live alone, so much easier to keep neat and tidy. Black (no matter the surface material), will always show every speck of dirt, dust, hair. Vinegar should cut through the grease. If you need more, did you try dish soap? Have you tried rubbing alcohol? The dust there is nothing you can do about other than possibly purchase an ionizer or air filter of some sort. I have a lot of pets and live in a dusty location, so I just deal with it by wiping things down often.

  • I use TSP substitute mixed with water in a spray bottle and a rag. Cleans grease with near minimal effort.
