Mag, winter veggies can be planted early. Cabbage, broccoli, Swiss chard, kale and cilantro like cool weather. Some lettuces, too. I'm not sure what area of the country you are in, but these do well as long as it doesn't freeze at night

It definitely depends on where you live. I suggest contacting your County Home Extension agent. They can provide great info about what's best in your local area.
