What to do with a hollow core door?

We redid a bathroom and enlarged the door opening I now have a 24" wide hollow core door that I hate to toss. I was going to make a craft table out of it until I realized it was hollow (duh!) any creative ideas of what I can use it for?

I had some and posted for free on Craigslist. They were claimed in a day or two and someone who needed a door was happy!

  I honestly think that is a great way to repurpose materials. A hollow door doesn't have a lot of other uses IMHO. And I love knowing that I'm helping out with someone else's diy project! I've been on the receiving side of that too and it's always so exciting to find that "treasure" I need which was someone else's "trash".

Desks and Workbenches
Turn a smooth-surfaced hollow core door horizontal over sawhorses for a quick, portable work surface, indoors or out. For a permanent workbench or office desk, mount the door over short, matched bookshelves or filing cabinet
Room Dividers
Place hinges on the inside edges of three doors to make a tall folding room divider. For added stability, add angle brackets or wood cross bracing to the bottoms.
Shelves and Closets
The resulting deep shelves offer a sturdy solution for storing heavy items in the garage or basement.

you can use it for craft table even if it is hollow or nice big shelf in basement garage areas just use cinder blocks as stand for shelf

I've used them as table tops for desks and we're about to use some for shelves in our shed.

  I built a simple base out of wood. It wasn't attached because it's pretty big and didn't move around.
  I've also used craft storage cabinets as a base. Short filing cabinets would work as well.
