I buy carpet cleaning powder - i think Febreeze makes it. Sprinkle on and vacuum off like the can directs. Major refresh!

Hi Morgan. Thank you for your suggestion. I'm going to try the baking soda overnight ideas first. If that is not enough, I'll take a look at the carpet cleaning powder and make sure it does not have chemicals - I have 2 cats in the family!

  • Baking soda is what I use. Sprinkle on and let sit for a bit (I sprinkle at night) and vacuum up the next morning. I have a bunch of pets and don't want to use chemicals that may not be good for them.

    • So welcome Karma! I have 6 cats too. Expect to find a few trails on other surfaces if you do this overnight. At least it is only baking soda and easy to vacuum up! 🌞

I sprinkle baking soda on my carpet and let set overnight, then vacuum well the next morning.

Thanks for your suggestion Janice. Used Shore Grandmom's suggestion because I needed a quick fix.

I am going to sprinkle it on again later and leave it on all night.

      Thanks again!

Sprinkle baking soda on it. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, then vacuum.

Thanks grandmom! Gave this a try as I needed a really quick solution. I use baking soda in many of my cleaning solutions, but never thought about sprinkling it on carpet.
