I love Easter time and have always loved dyeing eggs - but this year, we are doing something a little different!!!
Let's have some fun and gather all of the supplies needed to create this fabulous Easter Eggs! Paper Mache Eggs, Foil Adhesive, Foils, screwers, foam block, paint and of course some Glitter!!!
I found this to be the best way to paint the eggs - take the screwers and poke a hold in the bottom and then put in the foam block. This is great for painting and drying!!!
I painted the eggs Black and Persian Blue from General Finishes, applied two coats for good coverage. Allow the paint to dry a few hours and then applied my Foil Adhesive.
Just brush on one coat of the foil adhesive and allow it to dry to a firm tack. This means it's still going to be really sticky, but a dry sticky. It should take at least 30 minutes but you can allow it to dry for hours - it will never dry beyond a firm tack.
Then I grabbed a collection of foils - we have a fabulous collection to choose from!!! I found a few from my newest collection - florals and animal prints!!!
Abigail is one of my favorite new foil patterns - love the print and all the colors! Cut off a sheet about 1' long and this will do about 4 eggs!

Take the foil sheet with the beautiful pattern on the outside and lay the sticky egg in the foil - just wrap it around the egg and scrub a little if necessary - either a small nail brush or tooth brush will work.
But wait - we are not done yet!!! It's time for some Glitter!!!

Once you are finished apply the Foil to the egg, there will still be some sticky foil adhesive showing - so all we did is roll the eggs in Glitter!!! This covered the left over foil adhesive that was showing and now we have beautiful Foiled & Glittered Easter Eggs!!!
These are so fun to decorate with - working on a center piece for the table!!!

Not sure anything gets better than these fabulous Easter Eggs - grab some yourself and have fun!!!

Happy Easter and many Blessings!!!
