Fill a spray bottle with a 50/50 solution of Dawn dish soap and vinegar. Spray it on the hard water/mineral stains and let it work. If they are tougher stains, you may have to scrub with a plastic scrubbie!
straight CLR or straight vinegar put on depositlet sit then scrub with scrubber sponge or new stiff toilet brush rinse with hot water for harder to remove deposits put solution/vinegar on cloth leave cloth on area then scrub this works well on faucets and areas that it is hard to get solution tomstay on.also toilet bowl rings.

CLR kitchen and bath is great stuff! Just moved into a new to us house and the scum was thick, and the shower base was black (not mold). Spray on, let it sit for about 10 minutes, then use a hard bristle brush--I used a nail brush.
Spray bottle, half filled with white vinegar, some water, tablespoon or two of Dawn dishwashing liquid, Wet the entire tile area and tub, spray on, leave for two hours, rinse off with water, scrub where necessary. All NATURAL. It works.
