Before cleaning, get rid of the moisture in the air by using a product like Damp Rid. Then wipe down surfaces with white cleaning vinegar.
Need to make sure you've fix the moisture issue or it will come back.
Wash down with vinegar, let dry, may need to prime and paint.
Hi Sona - There are several ways to get rid of mold, but most importantly, you need to address the root cause to keep it from returning. This article focuses on the bathroom, but is an overall great article that covers methods of how to remove mold, if bleach is safe to use, and how to prevent it from coming back. Hope this helps! Hugs, Holly
All of the above, emphasizing finding the cause, and using the vinegar. Our home faces the north, so is shady all the time. Mildew is a continuing struggle even though thee isn't a LOT of it. Have to clean the ceiling at least twice a year. Finally installed more air vents in the sotfet (sp?) and that helped a great deal.
