if the surface of the window feels sticky, yes give them a rinse, dry with news paper or a microfiber cloth

Yep I would give them a light rinse if there is residue left on the windows.

You can , but it will probably leave a residue ...I found the best way for me to clean my Windows was to use a mix of white vinegar and water , I put it into a small spray bottle , but you can use a good quality window cleaner . I say that because cleaning Windows is not my favorite thing to do ! If you use a cheap cleaner and it doesn't work, then you have to do it all over again 😣 That being said, use a squeegee !!!!!!

It cleans so much better and faster than using paper towels !

I always rinse my Windows with vinegar, either full strength or in water, using a spray bottle. It will rinse away any soap residue that will cause streaks. My mom always cleaned her windows with ammonia water and rinsed with vinegar water and they came out just listening inside and out. Make sure you don't clean them when the hot sun is on the windows as that will dry quickly and leave soapy residue that may be harder to get off once it is baked on.
