My mother has a lot of nic-nacks on a lot of shelves and they take forever to dust. Is there a trick to keeping them clean a little longer?

I would reduce the number of items (doing so is not only easier to clean, but looks neater and makes the remaining ones more visible) and keep the collection out of direct sunlight, which always attracts more dust. Always dust from the highest point of the room and work downward since dust drops.

the best is to add filter screen to your window and doors

Hi Sharon, Don't open doors and windows, cause that lets the dust in. Don't move about, as that encourages your skin to shed. Use an Air filtration system, Vac everyday but not before you dust. Blow it away with a hairdryer once or twice a day. In short, unless you are able to enclose everything inside a sealed glass cabinet, there are only two things you can do.

    1. Don't let it worry you, as there will always be dust, and do it when you feel like it.
    2. Think of the love you have for your mother and do it with love for her.

    Best wishes..........enjoy the journey.....!
