WD 40 , spray on a rag or paper towel and wipe till it comes off
I would think that nail polish remover would work, since it works on nail polish !!!
Try scratching it off with a brand new SHARP razor blade...being careful to touch only the paint spot so the rest of the light doesn't get damaged.
Hi Tammy, depends what the finish is, if it is any kind of metal like nickel or brass you can use paint thinner or nail polish remover.

It does depend on the finish but I would try wetting a rag with mineral spirits and scrubbing it off.
