Early Spring is a great time for daffodils and tulips. These bulbs are planted in the Fall and the Spring show is rewarding! If you want something that is Spring planted try pansies. They come in so many beautiful colors. Of course when the temperatures rise in May, they are used up. Or, if you prefer, plant flowers that will sustain the cool some and lead straight into Summer and Fall. These would be like marigolds, Xenia’s, snap dragons, and mums that are a beautiful green in Summer and burst into blowing the Fall.

Go to your local nursery and see what they're selling since they only sell what will grow successfully in your area. The salespeople are trained to answer questions just like yours, too.
